Day 1 — Innsbruck, Austria
Arrive in the Tyrolean town of Innsbruck, nestled in the heart of the mountains and your home for the next five nights. Tonight join your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner.

Day 2 — Innsbruck – Seefeld, Austria – Innsbruck
Today the choice is yours! Join a Local Guide to discover Innsbruck’s history, culture and popular attractions, including Maria Theresien-Strasse, the Hofburg and the “Golden Roof.” Or embark on a tour focusing on the city’s unique architectural structures, including its famous ski jump. This afternoon venture into the mountains to the breathtaking Alpine village of Seefeld. Enjoy stunning views as you travel by train 3,600 feet above sea level to this charming Tyrolean town. Known as one of the world’s great ski resorts, Seefeld is home to miles of walking trails, lakes, fine shopping and dining and pure, fresh Alpine air. Warm yourself, meet the locals over a glass of schnapps and enjoy a traditional carriage ride before shopping in some of the quaint village shops.

Day 3 — Innsbruck – Munich, Germany – Innsbruck
This morning cross the border into Germany en route to the exciting city of Munich. First you’ll be introduced to its history on a panoramic tour featuring the Marienplatz, the Glockenspiel and Olympic Park. Then enjoy leisure time to independently explore Munich’s historic area and the Christmas Market. Later return to Innsbruck, where the remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 4 — Innsbruck – Salzburg, Austria – Innsbruck
Journey through the Austrian countryside to Salzburg, a city filled with beautiful gardens and wondrous architecture. Upon arrival enjoy a leisurely paced walking tour featuring the Mirabell Gardens, a filming location for The Sound of Music, and Mozart’s birthplace, the quaint Getreidegasse. Enjoy a free afternoon to mingle with the locals as you explore Salzburg’s Christmas Markets, browsing local crafts and sampling traditional food and drink. Your day concludes with a delightful dinner at the centuries-old St. Peter’s Restaurant, located in the historic city center.

Day 5 — Innsbruck – Neuschwanstein, Germany – Oberammergau, Germany – Innsbruck
Begin your day with a stop to view Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairy-tale retreat of Ludwig II of Bavaria. Continue on your journey to Oberammergau, a picture-perfect Bavarian Alpine village known worldwide for its once-a-decade performance of the Passion Play. Step back in time as you stroll the streets past Old World cottages and shops covered in colorful frescos. Have some time to explore the village, perhaps shopping for the intricate woodcrafts the town is known for. Conclude your tour with a festive Farewell Dinner this evening.

Day 6 — Innsbruck
