Bluegreen Vacation Club accommodations, just like our resorts, come in all shapes and sizes. Each type of room will offer a different environment and amenities. Virtually all of our villas come in studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or three-bedroom configurations. The goal in choosing a unit layout involves booking a layout that suits the needs of you and your travel party.

A hotel unit is the smallest timeshare that we offer. It sleeps no more than two people, maybe four with a pullout couch, and often lacks amenities like a kitchenette, private laundry facilities, and personal balcony. Studio units average about 300 square feet. If cooking in your room, space to comfortably accommodate more than two people or doing laundry is important to you, double-check your unit’s layout or consider reserving a larger unit.

One-bedroom accommodations look more like apartments than hotel rooms, as they typically offer a living room and kitchen or kitchenette area in addition to a private bedroom. These units can sleep four to six people, though at least two will usually end up on a pullout couch in the living/dining area. We recommend sleeper sofas for children only. However, if accommodating a family or friends is the most important goal of vacationing with Bluegreen, two-bedroom villas really start to feel like a full-fledged vacation villa. These rooms often include adjoining dining rooms and living rooms, as well as full kitchens and additional kitchenettes. Two-bedroom layouts are among the most desirable villas in the Vacation Club.

Sleeping eight people or more may start to get difficult when planning a vacation. However, some of our resorts offer three-bedroom units or Presidential villas and homes, running an average of 2,000 square feet or more and sleeping from eight to twelve people at a time in a combination of beds and sleeper sofas as well as full kitchens. In some cases, especially the presidential accommodations, high end furniture and appliances, as well as luxury amenities such as game rooms, media rooms, and private lanais with outdoor kitchens are available.

The choice is yours. The next time you start planning a vacation, arm yourself with knowledge about the unit offerings at the resort you want to travel to. Make sure the unit amenities are everything you need as well as everything you want. Set a realistic expectation of the room you choose and don’t assume all units are created equal. Keeping these things in mind will ensure a pleasant and relaxing vacation for you and your travel party.
